Designed specifically for photographers who prefer small groups, personalised tuition and minimal trekking, this fully guided photography tour explores many of New Zealand’s most iconic winter landscapes while providing plenty of time to slow down, learn and create meaningful images.

Lake Tekapo & Mackenzie Country
One of New Zealand’s most photographed regions.

• Lake Tekapo shoreline

Lake Pukaki & Mount Cook
Some of the most spectacular alpine scenery in New Zealand.

What You’ll Learn
This workshop is designed to help you become a more confident and intentional landscape photographer.
Topics covered include:
• Understanding landscape composition
• Working with winter light and weather
• Long exposure techniques
• Using filters effectively
• Reading conditions and planning shoots
• Camera settings for landscape photography
• Creating stronger and more meaningful images
• Developing your personal photographic style
There will also be opportunities for image reviews, editing discussions and one-on-one mentoring throughout the tour.
